FAQ

Do you shoot multiple sessions in one day?

Generally no. I like to give each shoot my full attention and when working with animals, shoots tend to run overtime and i like to keep shoots nice and relaxed with no rushing.

Will there be an assitant or second shooter?

It depends on the kind of shoot. Most photoshoots with horses or dogs require and assistant and i will often bring someone with me to assist in getting those ears up!

Can I extend the session on the day of?

Yes! If we have time in our session and you wish to extend it to do more outfit changes, or change locations etc, we can absolutely extend the session, however payment will be required on the same day.

What kind of gear do you use?

I am a Canon girl through and girl. Canon 80D with multiple lenses. Adobe Lightroom + Photoshop.

Do I have to order prints through you?

At this stage, yes. Other options are in process.

Are smoke bombs available at every shoot? Are they safe?

If you would like the option of smoke bombs in your shoot, please discuss this with me first. I need a chance to order the bombs and each bomb we use is $20 extra.

The smoke effect can linger but it is determined by a number of factors. They are a “hot burn” chemical reaction meaning the smoke rises upwards as it’s runs hot. On a colder day the smoke will generally linger around more vs disappearing quickly into the air on a hotter day. Because. Science. Any type of wind will quickly move the smoke away.

I don’t recommend using them indoors as the lingering smoke can cause potential issues for people with respiratory problems.

In the shoots i have done with horses and coloured smoke, there have never been any problems.

Can you supply a horse for a photoshoot?

Yes! Get in touch and let's discuss your vision.
