There is something special about the love between a girl and her horse.....
Women and horses are much the same in a way i feel. The strength, resilience, empathy, vulnerability, humility and grace that they both carry make them an unbeatable duo. This sport is about so much more then just riding. It is about connection, trust, love, authenticity and overcoming your fears together. It is a relationship that forms over time, one with trials and tribulations, but also one with a lot of triumphs and it's in the ups and downs that these bonds and connections are strengthened. The horse humbles us, but also sets a fire inside our souls. It's that fire and the stories of these incredible connections and how they formed is why I love being a horse photographer.
A horse is a best friend, a team mate, a support system, a mirror, our greatest teacher and weave their way into our souls. Their lessons stay with us for a lifetime, and so do the memories we capture....
